Below are the main yarn brands I stock here at number four. It has taken me lots of time to find the perfect brands for me and my shop. Each of my brands have lots of lines to choose from, and one of my favourite jobs is choosing which ones I know my customers will love the most. Happy browsing!
I fell in love with Katia yarns when I was gifted a pack of the mini amigurumi cotton set long before opening my shop. The choices are amazing with so many different blends of yarn. Plus, the patterns are modern and there are always new and exciting must-haves available!
Stylecraft are so much more than the special d.k we all know and love them for. They spend lots of time researching modern trends and I’ve been lucky enough to have a nosey behind the scenes at the mill so I see the hard work that goes into every ball of wool.
I am so proud to stock West Yorkshire Spinners as it goes hand-in-hand with my love of supporting local. They are ‘Reared, Sheared and spun’ in England, plus it smells and feels divine and the colours are insane!
Scheepjes has been catapulted into the limelight due to social media, and thanks to insta-savvy designers, we are able to drool over the new deliciousness they’re sending our way, perfect for knitters and crocheters alike! The Scheepjes whirls are by far my best selling ‘caked’ yarn, and I’m addicted to them myself.
James C. Brett is a family business and were actually the first I worked with when I embarked on this wooly adventure, and for that I will always have a soft spot for them. They are a very traditional and affordable brand – not to mention a household name for most lifetime knitters.
